Client Care Policy - Aligned Mind Therapy

At Aligned Mind Therapy, we’re committed to providing compassionate, professional, and high-quality care for every client.
We value your time, and we ask that you value ours too by following the guidelines below.
This policy outlines how we handle bookings, cancellations, rescheduling, and credits in line with the Australian Consumer Law (Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).
1. Bookings and Payments

Appointments, workshops, and online programs are confirmed upon payment.

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.

You’ll receive confirmation and reminders via email or text before your session.
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or if you do not attend your session, the full session fee may apply.

With adequate notice, you may reschedule your session at no cost.
We understand that emergencies happen if something unexpected arises, please contact us as soon as possible so we can support you and manage your booking fairly.
3. Programs, Workshops & Group Sessions

For multi-session programs or group workshops, full payment is required prior to commencement unless otherwise stated.

If you withdraw before the program or workshop begins, a partial refund or credit may be considered minus an administrative fee.

Once the program or workshop has started, refunds are generally not available, though a credit or transfer may be offered in exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness or significant personal matters).
4. Digital Materials & Recordings
Digital products (e.g., recordings, meditations, or course materials) are delivered instantly upon purchase.
Because of their downloadable nature, all digital sales are final.
If you experience technical issues accessing materials, please contact us within 7 days and we’ll help you resolve them promptly.
5. Your Rights under Australian Consumer Law
Aligned Mind Therapy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which guarantees that services are provided with due care and skill and are fit for their intended purpose.
If we are unable to provide a service, or it does not meet these guarantees, we’ll offer an appropriate remedy such as a reschedule, credit, or refund as required by law.
Please note that refunds are not offered for:

Change of mind,

Non-attendance, or
-
Lack of perceived results (since therapy outcomes vary by individual).
